Reliance Jio Announces Many International Roaming Plans With Incoming Outgoing WiFi Calling SMS Data Benefits Starting Rs 121 All Details

Reliance Jio has launched new International Roaming (IR) plans for its users. The company has retained some of the existing IR plans along with adding these new international roaming plans to its portfolio. Keeping in mind the needs of the users in its new plan, the company has introduced the plan in different categories, so that the users can choose the plan based on their needs. In simple words, earlier users could only see plans available for the countries they were traveling to. However, now users can choose their plans on the basis of “Travel Passes, Roam More Packs, International Wi-Fi Calling, Global Packs and IR data-only packs”. Let us understand these in detail.

Jio has informed that now many new international roaming packs have been launched for the users, whose starting price is Rs 121 and the minimum validity is 2 days. This time the plan is divided into five categories, including Travel Pass, Roam For More, International Wi-Fi Calling, Global Packs, and IR Data-Only Packs.

All packs of Travel Pass and benefits available in them

Jio has launched three plans under Travel Pass, which include packs of Rs 499, Rs 2,499 and Rs 4,999. These have different validity and benefits. All these plans are valid in 32 countries.

The first pack is priced at Rs 499, which offers 100 minutes of voice calling, 100 SMS, and 250MB of data with a validity of 1 day. If the Wi-Fi calling option is on, then the user will receive incoming calls for free. The second plan is priced at Rs 2,499, which offers 10 days validity and all other benefits are the same as the Rs 499 plan. The third and last pack is priced at Rs 4,999, which offers 1500 minutes of free outgoing voice calls, 5GB of high-speed data (64Kbps speed after quota is over) and free incoming voice calls when the Wi-Fi option is on for a validity of 30 days.

All the plans of Jio Roam More and the benefits available in them

Jio Roam More IR plan comes with three plans and all of them are valid for 44 countries. This includes Rs 1,499, Rs 3,999 and Rs 5,999. Let’s know about them.

The first plan is priced at Rs 1,499, which includes 150 minutes of outgoing and incoming voice calls, 1GB of high-speed data (64 Kbps speed after quota is exhausted) and 100 free SMS with a validity of 14 days. The next plan is Rs 2,999, which includes 250 minutes of outgoing calls, free incoming calls with Wi-Fi calling, unlimited 4G high-speed data (64 Kbps after quota) and 100 SMS with a validity of 30 days . The third is the Rs 5,999 plan, which offers 400 minutes of outgoing calls, free incoming with Wi-Fi calling, 500 free SMS, and 6GB of high-speed data (unlimited data at 64 Kbps speed after quota).

Jio Global’s plans and benefits available in them

The Global IR plan consists of two plans, the first being Rs 1,101 and Rs 1,102. Both the plans are valid for over 130 countries. The Rs 1,101 plan comes with a usage value of Rs 933.05 and has a validity of 28 days. Users get 5 free SMS with this plan. Whereas, the Rs 1 costlier Rs 1,102 plan comes with a usage value of Rs 933.90 and offers 5 free SMS. The validity of this plan is 28 days. The difference between the two plans is that the former does not include Wi-Fi calling, while the latter offers Wi-Fi calling support. With Wi-Fi calling, Jio will charge Re 1 per minute for both incoming and outgoing calls to other countries and Re 1 for calls to India.

IR Wi-Fi calling plans and benefits available in them

International calls are being offered only in India in these plans. Their price is Rs 121 and Rs 521. The Rs 121 plan offers 100 minutes of incoming and outgoing calls and 2 days validity with Wi-Fi calling, while the Rs 521 plan offers 10 days validity and 500 minutes of calling.

Jio Data Only IR plans and benefits available in them

There are four plans in these, which cost Rs 999, Rs 2,999, Rs 4,499 and Rs 5,899. The Rs 999 plan offers 1GB data and 7 days validity. The Rs 2,999 plan offers 5GB data during the validity of 7 days. The Rs 4,499 plan offers 8GB data with a validity of 14 days and the Rs 5,899 plan offers 10GB data with a validity of 21 days. All the plans have unlimited data, but the speed will be reduced to 64Kbps after the mentioned quota is exhausted.
