Electric two-wheeler sales in India have grown exponentially and in March 2023, EV companies have crossed new sales figures. We bring you the list of top selling EV two wheeler companies in March.

Ola Electric has been number one in terms of sales. The company has sold 27,000 units in the month of March as against 18,270 units in the month of February. The company currently sells Ola S1 Pro, Ola S1 electric scooter.

Electric two-wheeler sales: Ola Electric beats the odds

TVS Motor has sold 16,454 units in the month of March, which was 10,378 units in the month of February. TVS currently sells the only electric scooter, the iQube, which recently crossed the 1 lakh unit sales mark.

Ather Energy sold 11,993 units of electric scooters in the month of March, which was 9187 units sold in the month of February. Ather currently sells the 450X and 450 models. With both the models, the company is rapidly expanding across the country.

Ampere Vehicle stood at the fourth position in sales. The company has sold 8,844 units of electric two-wheelers in the month of March, which was 4424 units sold in February 2023. It was followed by Hero Electric which sold 6,640 units in the month of March.

It was followed by Okinawa Autotech which sold 4,201 units of electric two-wheelers in the month of March, the company sold 3840 units in February. It was followed by Chetak Technology which sold 2,319 units of the electric two-wheeler in March.

Bajaj Auto sold 2,136 units of the Chetak electric scooter in the month of March. It was followed by Okaya which sold 1,720 units in the month of March, the company sold 1231 units of the electric two-wheeler in the month of February.

Ola Electric has become the largest electric two-wheeler manufacturer in the market but it is facing tough competition from TVS. At the same time, Ather Energy is also giving a tough competition to the company and is preparing to bring new electric scooters for it.

A total of 83,860 units of electric two-wheelers have been sold in March 2023, which is 65,623 units of electric two-wheelers sold in the month of February, registering an increase of 21.74% in sales. An increase of 35% has been registered against 54,398 units of March 2022.
