Honda Shine 100 : Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has started delivering the Honda Shine 100, which was launched in March. The company is sending the bike to the dealers and soon the bike will be seen on the roads as well. The new bike is being shipped across the country from the company’s Narsapura factory in Karnataka. In the 100 cc segment, Honda Shine will compete with Hero Splendor Plus and Bajaj Platina. Honda claims that in the 100 cc segment, the Honda Sign 100 will give the best in class mileage (Honda Shine 100 Mileage). The starting ex-showroom price of Honda Shine 100 (Honda Shine 100 Price) has been kept at Rs 64,900.

Honda Shine 100 has a new 100 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine (Honda Shine 100 Engine). It also gets fuel injection and eSP for better mileage. The engine has been designed according to the upcoming BS6 Phase-2 norms. The special thing in this is that the fuel pump is given outside the fuel tank and it comes with auto choke system. The engine of Honda Shine 100 generates power of 7.5 bhp at 7,500 rpm and torque of 8.05 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The company claims that this bike will give a mileage of up to 65 kilometers per liter.

more ground clearance
The ground clearance of Honda Shine 100 is 168mm. This means that it can be easily driven even on bad roads. It has been launched in 5 color options. It is available in color options like Black with Red Stripes, Black with Blue Stripes, Black with Green Stripes, Black with Gold Stripes and Black with Gray Stripes. The Shine 100 also gets a new front cowl, blacked-out alloy wheels and an aluminum grab rail.

Splendor Plus and Platina will be challenged
Honda Shine 100 will give direct challenge to Splendor Plus. In terms of features, Shine competes with Splendor. The Splendor Plus gets a 97.2cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine, which generates 7.9 bhp power and 8.05 Nm torque. It also gets a 4 speed gearbox. Hero claims a mileage of 60-70 kmpl. Similarly, the Platina 100 gets a 102cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine, which generates 7.7 bhp power and 8.03 Nm torque. It gets 4 speed gearbox. It gets a mileage of 60-70 km/l.
