TVS iQube sales cross 1 lakh units, strong sales for last two months

TVS Motor Company’s only electric scooter iQube is performing brilliantly in the market due to which it has now crossed the total sales of 1 lakh units. TVS iQube has sold 1,08,550 units till date.

The sales of TVS iQube have been going on well for the last two months due to which this scooter has crossed this big figure. While 15,364 units were sold in March, 15,522 units were sold in February.

TVS brought the iQube electric scooter in the market in January 2020 but its sales have been excellent in the financial year 2023, with 96,654 units sold. Which is 89% of its total sales in the Indian market.

The demand for TVS iQube has picked up in the last 12 months and due to this the sales were expected to double in the first three quarters of FY2023. 15,645 units were sold between July-September as against 8,724 units in April-June 2022.

After this, sales increased to 29,230 units between October-December 2022 and it increased to 43,055 units in the last quarter. Currently in the Indian market, it competes with models like Ola S1 Pro, Ather 450X.

TVS iQube has been made available in three variants – Standard, S and ST, priced at Rs 98,564, Rs 1,08,690 respectively. Its top variant ST has also been brought but till now the company has not disclosed its price.

The TVS iQube scooter is powered by a 4.4 kW motor, which produces 140 Newton meters of torque. TVS claims that this scooter can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 4.2 seconds.

The top speed of TVS iQube is 78 kmph in Sport mode and 40 kmph in Eco mode. The iQube electric scooter offers a range of 75 km on a single full charge in the standard variant.

At the same time, it gives a range of 140 km in the top variant. A 5 amp charger will be given to charge its battery. The iQube comes with a TFT screen, which can be connected to a smartphone.

Through this, features like geo fencing, remote battery charge status, navigation assist can be used. Features like last park location, call/SMS alert, ride statics and range indication can also be used in its app.
