Royal Enfield’s sales increased like a rocket, 18% jump in motorcycle sales, ruling the markets of 40 countries

Royal Enfield April 2023 Sales: Motorcycle manufacturer Royal Enfield registered an 18 percent increase in total sales for the month of April, 2023. The company sold 73,136 units last month, while in April last year the company sold 62,155 units.

The company’s domestic sales are expected to increase by 28 percent from 53,852 units in April 2022 to 68,881 units in April 2023. However, motorcycle exports in April 2022 declined by 49% to 4,255 units in the previous month as compared to 8,303 units.

Royal Enfield CEO B Govindarajan said that the company has started FY2024 with confidence after delivering a good performance during FY2023. He said that to establish Royal Enfield as a global motorcycle brand, the brand has recently launched its Hunter 350 and Scram 411 bikes in the USA and Latin America markets. Govindarajan said that he is sure that these motorcycles will perform well and strengthen the company’s hold in the overseas markets.

Last month, the company announced the opening of assembly plants in Nepal and Bangladesh very soon to expand its global footprint. The company will export its semi-manufactured motorcycles from India to these countries. Royal Enfield is present in more than 40 countries in the 250cc to 750cc middleweight motorcycle category.

Royal Enfield’s new bike Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is very much liked by the people in India. The company launched this bike in August 2022 and within just 6 months, more than 1 lakh units of this bike were sold. Hunter 350 has been introduced in the modern muscular-retro style, which is very much liked by the customers.

The company is selling this bike in countries like France, Germany, Italy, UK, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand. Royal Enfield Hunter 350 uses a 349cc, single-cylinder, air and oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine. The starting price of this bike is Rs. 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
