Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be launched on April 18
Quad-camera setup will be in the rear of the phone
Will get the option to control aperture like DSLR
New Delhi. Xiaomi is preparing to launch its next flagship phone 13 Ultra. This smartphone will be placed above 13 Pro and 13 5G. The global launching of 13 Ultra will be done on 18 April. At present, Xiaomi has not given any information about the launch of this phone in India. At present, Xiaomi 13 Pro is the flagship phone of the company in India. However, here we are going to talk specifically about the camera of 13 Ultra.
In this upcoming smartphone of Xiaomi, a lot of improvement will be seen in the camera hardware. The company has given out the details of the camera sensor. This phone will also get 1-inch camera sensor like the previous model. Let’s know the rest of the details about this.
Camera will be special
Xiaomi has confirmed that the upcoming flagship phone will come with 13 Ultra quad rear camera setup. This camera has been developed in partnership with Leica. This phone will come with Sony IMX989 1-inch camera sensor like Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The most important thing is that there will be support for variable aperture in the phone.
The company has confirmed that users will get a chance to adjust the aperture between f/1.9 to f/4.0 in the main camera. However, it is not yet clear whether the aperture will be able to be adjusted anywhere in between or can be customized only on these. The advantage of having a variable aperture will be that users will be able to achieve clear Bokeh effect from f/1.9. At the same time, delete background will be seen at f/4.0. With this feature, the phone will easily get a chance to adapt different light settings.
The 1-inch sensor found in the phone is quite good. But, it enters a lot of light. In such a situation, there is a problem in balancing it in some shots. That is, having a variable aperture will help the users a lot.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be the first phone in the market to offer variable aperture on a 1-inch camera sensor. Huawei offered variable aperture on the Mate 50 Pro. But, it was based on a completely different sensor. Let us tell you that 1-inch camera sensor is still rarely seen in smartphones. Now with the introduction of variable aperture, wonderful pictures will be clicked from 13 Ultra.
As far as variable aperture is concerned, companies like Nokia, Samsung and Motorola had earlier offered phones with variable aperture or aperture control in some phones. However, the 1-inch sensor will be the first phone from Xiaomi. Also, at present, you hardly get to see the option of aperture control in any latest phone. This option comes in DSLR cameras, so that photographers get a lot of control over the lighting on the shot.
Along with this main camera, the company has also informed that three new Sony IMX858 sensors will be seen in the back of 13 Ultra. This will be for an ultra-wide angle lens and two for optical telephoto zoom.
Talking about the rest of the specifications of the phone, it has been learned from Leaks that this upcoming smartphone will have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 4900mAh battery, 90W fast charging, 50W wireless charging, 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, 32MP front camera, 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED. Display and Android 13 OS will be available.
