Hero MotoCorp is going to bring back its once popular bike Karizma and it was confirmed recently. Now a new information has come out that the name Hero Karizma XMR has been trademarked by the company for the new bike.

It is believed that Hero can bring it to India as its flagship model. Hero Karizma XMR will be built on a new platform and a new engine will also be used along with it. It will be a fully-faired bike.

The Hero Karizma XMR will be powered by a 210cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine that can churn out 25 Bhp and 30 Nm of peak power, the figures are yet to be confirmed. It will be given a 6-speed gearbox.

Some time ago this bike was seen testing and according to the pictures revealed at that time, its full fairing, clip-on handlebar, rear-set foot pegs, new light alloy wheels, rear view mirrors, telescopic front suspension and mono rear shock Absorber will be given.

This bike of the company was very popular among the youth and in such a situation the price of the new model will also be kept very attractive so that the young customers can be wooed. It could be launched in the festive season of 2023 and deliveries will start in early 2024.

We expect the Hero Karizma XMR to be priced around Rs 1.70 lakh and will take on the existing 180 to 200 cc segment bikes in the Indian two-wheeler market.

Talking about Hero Karizma, this bike was first introduced in 2003 and then in 2007 Hero Honda brought it under the name of ‘Karizma R’ with some changes. Two years later, the Karizma was reintroduced as the ZMR.

However, even after the new changes, the ZMR model could not get the same success that its first two models got. Now after a long gap, Hero is going to bring its Karizma back in the market, and it will be a completely new model.

A major update regarding Hero is that the company is going to increase the price of its bikes and scooters by up to 2 percent from today. This increase will depend on the model and location. This is being done because of the OBD-II standards.
