Sony Walkman: People who enjoyed the 90s would be well aware of the Walkman, and many would have even used it. Walkman came at a time when people did not have smartphones and no music players. Sony has now taken the initiative to refresh old memories. Actually Sony has recently launched Android Portable Music Player NW-A306.
Sony’s latest Walkman that comes with an aluminum body comes with a 3.6-inch touchscreen, 32GB of internal storage and has physical buttons that let you control the user interface as well as audio.
Its weight is only 113 grams. This NW-A306 Walkman comes with Sony’s S-Master HX digital amp. The company says the device also uses an AI-powered sound engine named DSEE Ultimate, which can upscale compressed audio, CD quality 16-bit lossless codec audio.
Sony’s latest audio gadget supports multiple audio formats like MP3, FLAC, WMA, AAC, AIFF, DSD and Apple Lossless. It runs on Android 12 out-of-the-box and allows users to install popular music streaming apps like Spotify, Deezer and others from the Google Play Store.
Depending on the music quality, the NW-A306 Walkman can last up to 36 hours on a single charge. If you use music streaming services, the battery can last up to 26 hours.
How much is the price?
For connectivity, it has a USB Type-C port, stereo mini-jack, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz + 5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0. Sony’s Walkman is available in Black and Blue color options. The Sony NW-A306 Walkman will be made available for purchase in Europe soon this month for £350 (roughly Rs. 35,505).
