Simple One: Simple One Electric Scooter Price Launch Range Charging Information

Simple Energy has launched its first electric scooter Simple One in India, priced at Rs 1.45 lakh. In this price Rs 13,000 is being taken for 750 watt charger. Its delivery will start from June 6.

The bookings for the Simple One electric scooter were also started then and have received over 1 lakh bookings in 18 months. The company is going to start the delivery of this electric scooter phase-wise and the first delivery will start from Bangalore.

Simple Energy claims that the Simple One electric scooter offers a range of 212 km with the fixed removable battery, making it the country’s most ranged electric two-wheeler. On the other hand, Simple One is also ahead in terms of speed.

The Simple One can accelerate from 0-40 km/h in just 2.77 seconds. At the same time, a thermal management system has been given in this electric scooter to handle the thermal runaway. This is the first electric scooter to come with this feature.

The company has started production of the Simple One electric scooter at its Shoolagiri, Tamil Nadu factory. The electric scooter comes with a powerful 8.5kW (11.4bhp) electric motor, which produces 72Nm of torque.

It has a 4.8kWh battery pack. It can attain a top speed of 105 km/h. With an additional battery pack, it offers a range of 300 km. The Simple One offers a range of 236 km on Eco mode.

With the help of its charger Simple Loop, the Simple One electric scooter gets charged up to 2.5 km range in just 60 seconds. At home, its inbuilt battery charges 0-100 percent in 2.75 hours. The standby battery charges in 75 minutes.

Simple Energy has a 2,00,000 sq ft manufacturing plant at Shoolgiri with a general assembly line. At the same time, the company has the country’s patented in-house motor manufacturing line, battery manufacturing line and cell storage.
