Fast mileage, price less than 70 thousand, this scooter is not a jackpot

New Delhi. There is as much demand for scooters as there is demand for motorcycles among Indian buyers. The scooter remains comfortable in terms of ride, as well as there is no hassle of changing gears and the ride remains hassle free. Brands like Honda to Suzuki, TVS and Hero Motorcorp sell different scooters in the market. You have many options in the market ranging from 110cc to 125cc.

Hero MotoCorp introduced its Xoom 110 scooter in India some time back and it is the company’s latest sporty looking scooter. In terms of design, the Hero Zoom 110 gets H-shaped LED DRLs and projector LED headlamps and one of its major features is the cornering lamp which is not found in other scooters in the segment. This makes the Xoom the world’s first and only 110cc scooter to be equipped with cornering lamps.

Engine & Mileage
It is powered by a 109 cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that produces 8 Bhp and 8.7 Nm of peak torque. The Hero Zoom scooter weighs 109 kg and gets telescopic front forks and single shock absorber at the rear and offers a decent mileage of 45-50kmpl.

price and competition
The price of the scooter starts from Rs.69,099 for the base LX variant and goes up to Rs.77199 for the top-spec ZX variant. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom Delhi. It competes with scooters like Honda Dio, Honda Activa and TVS Jupiter 110 in the Indian market.
