The craze of micro SUV is increasing in the market.
Hyundai will also launch micro SUV to compete with Tata Punch.
This car will be equipped with many new segment first features.

Hyundai Venue: Compact SUV cars are becoming increasingly popular in the Indian market. In terms of sales too, these cars have left the hatchback behind. The biggest reason for this is the availability of compact SUV cars in the price of hatchbacks. A compact SUV car offers more space, comfort and ground clearance than a hatchback, as well as an SUV-like feel to drive due to the higher seating position.

However, nowadays the craze of micro SUVs is increasing in the market. Maruti started this segment in India with the launch of Maruti Suzuki S-presso. After which Tata Motors also launched Punch in this segment. Now another micro SUV is going to enter this segment which will compete with a hatchback car of its own brand. We are talking about Hyundai Exter which will be launched in the Indian market on 10th July. If you are planning to buy Grand i10 Nios, then you can buy Hyundai Xter by waiting for a few days. The company will place the Xeter above the Grand i10 Nios and it will come with some premium features that will not be found in the Grand i10 Nios. Let us know what are those features…

digital driver display
Almost all the features of Hyundai Xtor have been revealed. The company is giving full digital driver display in Exeter. The center also features a colored TFT MID which shows important information like tire pressures, odometer reading and distance to empty. On the other hand, only colored TFT display has been given in Grand i10 Nios.

6 airbags will be standard
In Hyundai Xeter, the company has given 6 airbags as standard. The Grand i10 Nios also gets 6 airbags but only 4 airbags have been kept as standard. This is yet another benefit for the customers buying the Hyundai Xtor.

dual camera dashcam
Dashboard cameras are often considered an after market accessory. But Hyundai Xtor is the first SUV in which dual camera dashcam is not being given as an accessory but as a feature. This camera will be very useful during emergency and will record while driving as well as idle.

single pane sunroof
Hyundai is also offering a single pane sunroof in this entry level SUV. Due to which this car will not only prove to be different from Grand i10 Nios but will also give competition to Tata Punch in this matter. It will prove to be the smallest and most affordable car equipped with a sunroof feature in India.

Launch and Expected Price
Hyundai Exter will be launched in India on 10th July. Its starting price can be kept around Rs 6 lakh. After launch, it will compete with Tata Punch, Citroën C3, Maruti Franks, Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite.
