Ola Electric has become India’s largest electric scooter seller in terms of sales. Now the company is opening experience centers across the country to expand its reach. The company has now announced the opening of its 500th Experience Center.

Ola Electric has opened a new experience center at Srinagar in Jammu and Srinagar district. With this, Ola Electric has become the largest direct-to-consumer (D2C) automobile company in the country. Ola has a market reach of 98% in the country.

Ola is currently available with its Experience Centers in 300 cities across the country. The company is aiming to reach 1000 experience centers by August 2023.

Ola’s Experience Center is the one-stop-shop for Ola Electric Vehicles. Here customers can check vehicle details and take a test ride of Ola’s S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters before buying.

Ola introduced D2C and doorstep delivery and service for its two-wheelers, which was a step in itself. Even though the company still has 500 experience centers, a significant amount of orders still come from the website and app.

Through this, Ola is able to easily sell its electric scooters even to remote customers. This is the reason why today Ola Electric holds 40% multiple share in the Indian electric two-wheeler market.

Ola has achieved its highest ever sales of 30,000 units in the last month itself. In such a situation, Ola Electric has established its presence in the market, the reason for which is that the company is at number one for the last 8 months.

Ola Electric is about to return Rs 130 crore to its 1 lakh customers and the company has taken the decision. The reason for this is that the company sells chargers additionally to customers who buy Ola electric scooters and the government was probing this.

The Ministry of Heavy Industry was probing whether Ola was charging customers extra. Now Ola Electric has written a letter to ARAI informing that it is going to refund the money to customers who bought chargers as accessories.
