Maruti Grand Vitara Export: Maruti Suzuki launched the Grand Vitara in India in September 2022. Now the company has started exporting it outside India as part of its plan. The company recently started exporting the Grand Vitara Hybrid SUV to South America (Latin America).

The Grand Vitara SUV is being exported from Kamarajar Port in Chennai. The company aims to export the Grand Vitara to over 60 countries in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, ASEAN and neighboring regions.

Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. said, “Supporting the Government of India’s efforts to increase exports from India, Maruti Suzuki has taken several initiatives to enhance its international presence. Expanding product portfolio for exports has been one of the key pillars of success. With the addition of Grand Vitara, we now export a range of 17 vehicles.”

Maruti Suzuki is not only the leader in selling cars in the country but also in exports from India. The company exported 2.6 lakh vehicles from India in the calendar year 2022, which was the highest ever export by the company. The company is looking to further strengthen its presence in the export of passenger vehicles. That’s why the company is launching new models in India as well as sending them to outside countries.

Maruti Grand Vitara price starts at Rs. 10.45 Lakh and goes up to Rs. 19.65 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the top variant. The Grand Vitara is also available in CNG priced between Rs 12.85 Lakh to Rs 14.84 Lakh (ex-showroom).

In vehicle exports, Maruti is being given competition by Korean carmaker Hyundai, which exported 1.48 lakh units of cars from India last year. Maruti recently revealed its two new SUVs, the Jimny and the Fronx, at the Auto Expo 2023. Both the SUVs will be launched in India soon. Let us tell you that the company is already exporting the Jimny made in India. Both the new SUVs will be sold through Nexa Premium dealerships.
