Electric bike maker Ultraviolette has started deliveries of the limited edition F77 electric bike. The company also opened its Global Experience Center – Ultraviolet Hangar in Bangalore. This will be the flagship retail touchpoint of the company.
The bookings for the Ultraviolette F77 Limited Edition were opened in November 2022 and got fully booked in just 2 hours. Only 77 units of the F77 electric bike were made available under the company Limited Edition.
The Ultraviolette F77 is priced at Rs 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Bangalore) and the electric bike is being sold in two variants – F77 Original and F77 Recon. The F77 electric bike can be booked from the official website of Ultraviolette.
Its top speed is up to 150 kilometers per hour. It accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 7.5 seconds. The company claims that it can be run up to 307 kilometers on full charge.
The electric motor in the bike produces 33.5 bhp power and 90 Nm torque. The company has used a 10.5 kWh battery pack in this bike. Such a big battery is not given in any other electric two-wheeler available in India.
The company is using 21,700 lithium ion cells in this battery. The range of the bike has increased due to more sales. To make its battery safe, it is placed inside an aluminum casing.
Talking about some of the features of Ultraviolette F77, steel trellis frame has been used in this bike. Instead of giving a hub mounted motor, the bike has been fitted with an electric motor which sends power to the rear wheel through a chain.
The bike gets inverted cartridge suspension at the front while adjustable mono-shock suspension at the rear. To improve braking, the bike gets 320 mm front and 230 mm rear disc brake.
The bike rides on 17-inch alloy-wheels with 110/70 front and 150/60 rear tyres. The bike looks very modern and futuristic inspired from the first glance itself. Looking at the bike, it seems that its design is inspired by the airplane.
