He said that Musk had promised the public that autonomous vehicles would be available by 2016. He himself paid $50,000 for the promised enhancements to his Tesla EV. However, this update has not been received yet.

AI is a threat to people
According to Wozniak, Musk keeps on making promises every now and then. But, cannot fulfill them. Wozniak not only raised concern over Tesla’s AI technology but also pointed out its danger. He said that having a Tesla means having an AI experience. One who can make false claims and put someone’s safety at risk.

He also said that if you want to study about AI flaws then buy Tesla, which makes false claims and is trying to kill you at every opportunity.

However, Wozniak clarified that the concern was about the potential misuse and exploitation of AI rather than AI specifically. He stressed the need for regulations so that companies prioritize safety and ethics while developing powerful technologies like AI.
