Android users will soon get cool feature, will know from the home screen itself – Where did your ride reach?

Google’s ‘At A Glance’ widget is useful for easily viewing information like weather, time and upcoming events without opening any one app. The company has also included many new features in this widget over the years. Now it looks like the company is going to include another useful feature in it.

Soon the information about Uber ride will also be available from this widget of Google. Users will be able to see where their cab has reached. According to a recent report by 9to5Google, a new option called ‘Ridesharing’ has been spotted on the Pixel device in the widget settings page.

As soon as users turn on this feature. Users will be able to see how far their cab is without even launching the Uber app. First this feature will be given to Pixel devices. At the moment it is not clear when Google will release this feature for all users. In such a situation, common users will have to wait a bit.

Currently, the At A Glance widget provides upcoming alerts from upcoming events, flight boarding times and alerts, weather updates and work profiles. If you want to put a widget on the home screen of the phone, then you have to tap on any empty space. Then you will see the option of Widgets at the bottom.

Street View feature in Maps
Recently Google has expanded the Street View feature of its Maps. Now it has been made available in many places in India. With this, a location can be seen in 360 degrees through a real picture. This feature was started on a pilot basis in Bengaluru.
