BMW X5 SUV launched in facelift version.

Recently BMW has launched the X5 Facelift SUV in the Indian market. This car, which comes with mild-hybrid system in petrol and diesel engines, has been launched at an initial price of Rs 93.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Introduced in refresh design
The front bumper in the new X5 SUV is completely redesigned. There is also the option of an illuminated front bumper which is only available on the X5 40i petrol variant. Now it also gets slim LED headlight and integrated LED DRL lights. It also gets redesigned taillights and 12-inch redesigned alloy wheels.
The biggest change inside the X5 facelift is the new twin-screen panel that houses the 14.9-inch infotainment screen and the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The Drive Select mode now gets a glass toggle switch, which has been seen on many BMW models in the recent past. The X5 facelift also gets features like Harman Kardon music system, head-up display (on M Sport trims) and ambient lighting. The xLine trims get sport seats with heating function, while the M Sport trims get comfortable seats with ventilation.
BMW is also offering driver assistance programs that include cruise control, parking assist with 360-degree cameras, reverse assist, remote parking via smartphone and drive recording. Other safety features include six airbags, dynamic stability control and more.

The X5 facelift is available with petrol and diesel powertrains and both get a 48V mild-hybrid system. The xDrive 40i version gets a 3.0-litre, straight-six petrol engine that produces 381hp power and 520Nm of torque, while the xDrive 30d version gets a 3.0-litre, straight-six diesel engine that produces 286hp power and 650Nm produces torque of.
Both the engines get an electric motor producing 12hp power and 200Nm torque and an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The petrol engine model can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 5.4 seconds, while the diesel can do it in 6.1 seconds.
