Joy Rockefeller: The craze for electric two-wheelers is increasing in the Indian market. Because of this, companies making bikes and scooters are now launching new electric vehicles. Recently, Joy e-Bikes, the leading manufacturer of e-vehicles, has revealed its new electric motorcycle Rockefeller.
The company launched its new electric motorcycle at the Auto Expo 2023 held in Greater Noida. Talking about Rockefeller electric bike, its top speed is 70 km/h. In this bike, the company has given LED headlight, LED tail light and LED turn indicators.
In terms of design, this bike looks like any ordinary bike. However, a battery pack has been fitted in place of its engine. The hub electric motor has been installed in the rear wheel of the bike. Talking about the features of Joy Rockefeller, it has telescopic fork suspension at the front and dual spring loaded shockers at the rear. Disc brakes have also been installed on both the wheels of the bike.
Apart from this, the electronic features of the bikes include full digital display, geofencing, live vehicle tracking, remote lock/unlock and audio playback. The company claims that it can compete with any 100-125 cc petrol-powered bike.
The company has used very strong plastic in this bike. The company claims that the plastic parts of the bike can last for years without breaking. Joy Rockefeller can be run up to 100 kilometers on full charge. At present, the company has not disclosed the price of the bike but it is expected that its price can be around Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom). The company will make it available at showrooms in the coming few months.
