It is noteworthy that this will be Honda’s third scooter in the 125 cc segment after Activa and Grazia. With the arrival of Honda Dio in the market, there is now a tough competition for scooters like TVS Ntorq, Hero Maestro and Yamaha Ray Zdaar as well as Suzuki Avnis.

Honda has launched two variants of Dio in the market. You will get to see the difference of some features in these variants that came under the name Standard and Smart. Along with this, there will be a difference of about 8 thousand rupees in their price.

Engine will be strong
In Dio, the company has given a single cylinder air-cooled engine of 123.97 cc. Fuel injection technology has been given in the scooter which gives it excellent mileage. The scooter generates power of 8.19 Bhp while its maximum torque is 10.4 Nm. You will get to see CVT transmission in the scooter.

The company has also equipped the Honda Dio with a smart key. The scooter has been given a dual outlet muffler for the sporty exhaust note. There is a fully digital instrument cluster. The scooter has been given features like disc brake and USB charging point with alloy wheels. The scooter also gets 18 liters of under seat storage. While talking about its price, the standard variant will be available to you at Rs 83400 and the smart variant at Rs 91300 ex-showroom.

Tsutsumu Otani, MD, President and CEO of Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, said that the Dio 125 has been specially designed keeping in mind the Indian youth. The design of the scooter has been made very attractive, along with this its power has also been increased.
