of India Chandrayaan-3 (Chandrayaan 3) mission is moving towards its target. Indian Space Agency ISRO (ISRO) on Tuesday successfully completed the third orbit raising operation ie orbit raising operation of Chandrayaan-3. According to PTI, ISRO has told that the process of the next orbit will be completed between 2 to 3 pm on July 20. Significantly, this mission was launched on 14 July. On August 23, an attempt will be made to land Chandrayaan-3 on the moon.

As per the plan, Chandrayaan-3 was launched with the help of LVM-M4 rocket. Chandrayaan reached the orbit 16 minutes after the launch. As soon as this announcement was made at 2.52 pm, thunderous applause was heard in the Satish Dhawan Space Center. Chandrayaan-3 has now set out on a 42-day journey to the moon.

Significantly, in the year 2019, the lander of Chandrayaan-2 mission crashed on the surface of the moon. Soon after that, India started preparations for the third Moon mission. ISRO scientists were working day and night for the last several months to make the mission successful. Special attention has been paid this time to ensure that there is no problem in the landing of Chandrayaan-3. Like Chandrayaan-2, the lander of Chandrayaan-3 has also been named Vikram.

The mission has been designed in such a way that it can be landed on the moon in any case. On August 23, when the lander ‘Vikram’ will try to land on the lunar surface and there is a problem, it can be landed at another place as well. The objective of this mission is to successfully land on the Moon and prove the capabilities of walking there. So far three countries – America, Soviet Union and China have been able to land their missions on the Moon.
