Odysse Electric Vehicle has today launched its first high speed electric bike in India. Odysse Vader has been brought at a price of Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom, Ahmedabad).
The Odyssey Vader has been indigenously developed. Coming to the bookings of Vader, it can be booked from today onwards online or across the company’s 68 dealerships by paying an advance amount of just Rs 999. Its deliveries will start from July this year.
It is powered by a 3000W electric motor that can achieve a top speed of 85km/h. It provides maximum power of 4.50 kW and torque of 170 Newton meters. It has three driving modes – 3 forward, reverse and parking.
Talking about braking, it has a 240 mm front disc brake and rear 220 mm disc brake with combi braking system. For charging, a Lithium-Ion battery has been installed in it, which gets fully charged in just 4 hours.
Talking about the range of the Odyssey Vader, it offers a range of 125 km in Eco mode. Odyssey Vader has been made available in total 5 color options – Midnight Blue, Fiery Red, Glossy Black, Venom Green and Misty Grey. It gets 18-litres of storage space.
Its AIS 156 approved battery pack ensures that it charges quickly. Talking about the features, it is the first electric bike in the country with a 7-inch Android display. With this Google navigation, OTA update, Bluetooth is available.
The company has brought a new Odyssey EV app for the Odyssey Vader, with the help of which features like bike locator, geo fencing, immobilization, anti theft track and trace, low battery alert can be availed. This is very useful for two wheeler navigation.
Along with this, LED lighting, regenerative braking, battery management system has been given in this bike. Odyssey Vader is providing 3 years warranty on the battery of the electric bike and 3 years warranty on the electric motor.
