A video has been shared on YouTube by Ola Electric, in which information about the testing of the electric scooter has been given. It has been informed in the teaser that customer feedback has been included in the e-scooter. The company also says that the S1 Air has been designed for comfort and durability. The e-scooter was rigorously tested in various terrains ranging from steep slopes and hilly roads to curvy roads. The video shows that the e-scooter navigates these challenging terrains brilliantly. The company says that the e-scooter was tested for 500,000 kms, which is also mentioned in the video title.

Ola S1 Air has been made available for pre-booking. It is expected to be launched by the end of July. Customers can pre-book the e-scooter with a refundable amount of Rs 999. The pre-booking window is open till July 28. The price will be Rs 1,09,999 for pre-booking customers. After this, the e-scooter will cost the customers Rs 10,000 more, which means the price will be Rs 1,19,999. These will be ex-showroom prices. Customers can pre-book the e-scooter through the official website of Ola Electric.

Ola Electric announced the Ola S1 Air in October 2022. At that time only one variant was launched, which was priced at Rs 84,999. The delivery of the electric scooter was not started by the company. Two new variants were launched before starting the deliveries. Three variants of the electric scooter were introduced with 2kWh, 3kWh and 4kWh battery options. But later only the 3kWh battery variant was kept.

The top speed of Ola S1 Air is 45 km/h and its hub motor is capable of generating maximum power of 4.5kW. Its range is said to be 125 km and it also has the facility of hyper-mode acceleration. The company says that the Hyper-mode acceleration enables the scooter to go from 0 to 40 km/h in 2.9 seconds and 60 km/h in 4.5 seconds.

The electric scooter offers up to 34 liters of cargo space. The S1 Air comes with a digital key that can be used to unlock the scooter remotely. It also gets the feature of digital navigation and music control.
