WhatsApp Edit Button: WhatsApp has rolled out a feature that was eagerly awaited. Here we are talking about the Edit feature. Under the edit feature, users can make changes to the sent message. The instant messaging app gives users 15 minutes in which the sender can edit the sent message.

For example, if you make any mistake in the sent message, then you can correct it in the set timeframe. Apart from this, if you want, you can also add text according to your own.

WhatsApp has confirmed that this feature is rolling out gradually and will be available to all WhatsApp users on both Android and iOS platforms in the coming months.

Before editing the message, you must take care of some things.

1) WhatsApp has limited the edit window to 15 minutes. This means that you will be able to edit the message within 15 minutes of sending it.

2) The messages which will be edited by the user, will have the label of ‘Edited’ written in front of those messages.

3) The edit feature works for both individual chats and group chats.

Let’s learn how to edit the wrongly sent WhatsApp message?
Open WhatsApp and go to any chat window to which you have recently sent a message. (Not after more than 15 minutes)

-Long press on the chat and then tap on the three dots at the top right corner.

Now tap on Edit option here

Now after this whatever change you want to make, it can be done comfortably.
