Redmi 12 to Launch Next Month with 3 Colors and 5000mAh Battery

Chinese smartphone maker Redmi launched the Redmi 12 in some international markets earlier this year. It will be introduced in India on 1 August. It will be powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Its 5,000 mAh battery will support 18 W wired charging fast charging. The specifications of this smartphone to be launched in the country are expected to be similar to its international variant.

Redmi Has given information about the colors of this smartphone to be launched in the country through tweet. It will be made available in Jade Black, Moonstone Silver and Pastel Blue colours. When light falls on its silver colored handset, a rainbow-like shade is visible. It has triple rear camera unit. It will be sold in the country through Amazon and Flipkart.

The company launched it in Europe in Midnight Black, Polar Silver and Sky Blue colours. Its initial price was 199 euros (about Rs 17,000). Redmi has priced its 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant in Thailand at Bhat 5,299 (roughly Rs. 12,500). Its pricing in India is likely to be similar to Europe.

Recently, the company launched a new storage variant of Redmi 12C in India. It is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 10W wired charging support. Redmi’s sales have grown rapidly in the last few years.
