Excessive use of smartphones is ruining the physical and mental health of children.
The reasons related to this have been given in the new global study of Sapien Labs.
Instead of giving mobile to children, play with them and keep them busy in other activities.

Smartphone Addiction: Nowadays smartphone will be available in the hands of every man. Not only youth but also children are falling prey to the addiction of reel, picture and gaming on mobile. In every house, small children start watching games and videos by taking the phones of their parents. Often the parents also immediately hand over the mobile to the children to feed them or to pacify the crying child. Parents have started considering mobile as the best way to entertain children, but its addiction is very bad.

Excessive use of smartphones is certainly ruining the physical and mental health of children. The top official of the world’s leading smartphone maker himself has called mobiles fatal for children. Former Global Head of Xiaomi Corp, Manu Kumar Jain has expressed concern over the excessive use of smartphones by children.

Shocking report on smartphone usage
Manu Jain supported a study on mobile addiction among children. In this study, it was told how a person can become a victim of poor mental health after a few years of using a smartphone. In a LinkedIn post, he wrote, “Parents, let’s talk about the dangerous impact of early smartphone and tablet exposure on our kids’ mental health.”

He said that as parents it is our responsibility to protect the mental health of our children. Too much screen time in young children can have serious consequences. Remember their childhood is priceless and it is our duty to provide them the best possible foundation for a bright and healthy future.

Continuous use of mobile affects mental health
A new global study by Sapien Labs has found that delaying the introduction of smartphones to children may be better for their mental health. This study shows that 60-70 percent of women who were exposed to smartphones before the age of 10 years have mental health problems in their youth. 45 to 50% of men who used smartphones before the age of 10 are also facing similar problems. That is, it is not appropriate to give phones to children at a young age. This habit is weakening the mental health of children.

Instead of giving the phone to the child, keep him busy in different activities. Play with him, take him to the park. Either way keep the child busy outside or in other activities. Explain to the children about the use of the smartphone, as well as always keep a password on the phone.
