Hero MotoCorp entered the electric vehicle segment last year with the launch of its new EV company Vida.
The starting price of the new Hero Vida V1 Plus and V1 Pro e-scooters starts from Rs 1.45 lakh, ex-showroom. In such a situation, Pawan Munjal, Chairman and CEO of Hero MotoCorp, has himself taken delivery of a new Vida electric scooter.

Pawan Munjal, Chairman and CEO of Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has come out with a new Vida V1 electric scooter. Its color is in the company’s signature matte abrax orange shade. A picture of the same has been shared on the company’s social media platforms. It is worth mentioning that the delivery of Vida V1 started in India in December 2022.
Hero Vida V1 Plus, V1 Pro: Range and charging time
Hero Vida V1 has been introduced in two variants and the top speed of both these electric scooters is claimed to be 80 kmph. In terms of riding range, the Vida V1 Plus is claimed to deliver a range of 143 km while the V1 Pro will deliver a range of 165 km per charge. The company says that these e-scooters can be fast charged at the rate of 1.2 km per minute.

Hero Vida V1 Plus is currently priced at Rs 1.45 lakh while Vida V1 Pro is priced at Rs 1.59 lakh, ex-showroom Bengaluru. In Delhi, its price is very low after the subsidy of the state government, which goes from Rs 1.28 lakh to Rs 1.39 lakh after subsidy. Whereas in Jaipur it goes from Rs 1.34 lakh to Rs 1.47 lakh after subsidy.
Hero Vida V1 competes with Ola S1 Pro, Ather 450X, TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak.
