According to sources, the waiting period on some variants of the Hyundai Xter has gone up to 12 weeks. That is, now customers may have to wait for 3 months to take delivery of this SUV. The automatic variant of Hyundai Xter has the longest waiting period. According to the information, the company is getting bookings of 1,800 units of Xtor every day. Of these, bookings are being received for 38 percent automatic, 22 percent CNG and 40 percent petrol manual variants.

Waiting more for automatic variant
According to information received from sources, the waiting period for manual and CNG variants is around 6 to 8 weeks, while the waiting period for automatic variants is between 10 to 12 weeks. Significantly, Hyundai Xtor competes with Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Ignis, Citroën C3 in the Indian market.

How’s the exter?
Hyundai Xter has been launched at an initial price of Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom). In this micro SUV, the company has been given a 1.2 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine generates 81 bhp power at 6000 rpm and 114 Nm torque at 4000 rpm. The company has also introduced it in the CNG version. In CNG, this engine produces 68 Bhp of power and 95 Nm of torque.

The Hyundai Xtor gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a 4.2-inch driver’s display. It is the first car in its segment to get a voice enabled electric sunroof. Apart from this, features like dual camera dashcam, 6 airbags standard, automatic climate control, wireless charger, TPMS, three point seatbelt are being given as standard features in the car. Xter 60 is equipped with connected car features.
