Okinawa Okhi-90: Indian two-wheeler e-scooter manufacturer Okinawa Autotech (Okinawa) has launched the 2023 model of the Okhi-90 electric scooter. The new Okhi-90 electric scooter has been updated with new features along with battery upgrade. The company has launched it at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.86 lakh.

The company will start the delivery of the new Okhi-90 scooter in September this year. Okinawa launched the older model of the Okhi-90 last year. 160 Km range on full charge
In the new model of Okhi-90 scooter, the company has used a bigger Lithium Ion battery, which has increased the range of the scooter. Now this scooter gives a range of 160 kilometers on a single charge. At the same time, this scooter can now be run at a top-speed of 80-90 kmph. To avoid the hassle of carrying the charger, the company is providing a micro charger with the scooter.

As an update, the company has given some such features which are available only in the car. Advance features like antitheft alarm, GPS navigation and Bluetooth connectivity have been given in this scooter. The company has also launched Okinawa Connect smartphone application to control the scooter through remote access. With the help of this app, customers can see the battery level and speed of the scooter from anywhere, even if the scooter is being used by someone else.

Not just this, the new Okinawa Okhi-90 e-scooter comes with intelligent features for better safety. These features help the rider in getting out of tight parking spaces. The scooter can sense vibrations when it is parked and detect if it is being tampered with. The company says that in such cases, an antitheft alarm is triggered.
